The Account Dashboard
The account management dashboard can be found be navigating to it from the dropdown menu in the top right (example below) or by navigating directly to it here.
Account
On the account dashboard you will find various tabs on the left pane that can allow navigation to the various options for account management. The first one of these is the "Account" tab which contains options to change your email, username, and avatar.
In order to change your username and email, you must have Two Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on your account. See Account Security for more details. If 2FA is already enabled on your account, you can on this tab simply type in your new username or email into the field and click the blue "Save" button at the bottom.
Similarly, you may enter a direct image link (such as an imgur direct image link) for an avatar to be used for your account on the site. Simply paste or type in the link into the field and click save. Note that it may take a refresh of the page for the avatar to show up once saved.
Password
On the Password tab you can change the password associated with your account.
To do so, simply type in your current password into the "Current Password" field and then type in a new password into the following two fields. Once complete, simply hit the "Save" button to save your new password.
Email Preferences
Powerchat sends out various emails for the purposes of updating our users on important events or service announcements as well as for various operations of the service.
On the Emails tab of the account dashboard you can opt in or out of receiving various emails by type.
The first toggle will allow you to opt in or out of receiving updates regarding the Powerchat.Live service, including maintenance announcements, new features, etc. For streamers (and those who just wish to stay in the know), we strongly recommend remaining opted in to this email list. All accounts are opt-in by default.
The second toggle will allow you to opt in or out of receiving transactional email alerts for when streamers go live on their various platforms. These email alerts will only be sent out at a maximum rate of once per hour per streamer, so no need to worry about being spammed. Still, if you wish to stop receiving these you can toggle the option off.
Once a toggle setting has been changed simply click the save button at the bottom of the page and your settings will be updated.

Following
On the following tab you can manage all of the Powerchat accounts you follow. When you follow an account on Powerchat it will allow you to receive updates about that user (for example when they go live). The following tab lets you manage who you are following as well as see how long you have been following for. You can unfollow a user here, or use this page to navigate to their Powerchat Page by clicking their username in the list.
This list is empty by default, so get following your favorite creators on Powerchat to keep track of their activity no matter where they stream!
