Powerchat offers a Twitch.tv Integration solution which allows you to receive and trigger alerts which originate on Twitch in your Powerchat TTS/Media Alertbox. Powerchat also offers Twitch Integration solutions to display Twitch chat in the Powerchat Chat Overlay Live Chat Overlay and the viewer count in the Powerchat View Count Overlay Live View Count Overlay.
To use the Twitch Integration features, you must first link your Twitch channel in the External Integrations section of the Powerchat Creator Dashboard. This step of the process will redirect you to Twitch.tv, where you will be instructed to login and grant Powerchat the required permissions for all of the features we provide.
Permission 1: Send live Stream Chat and Rooms messages.
Permission 2: Read your email address and email verification status.
Permission 3: Read the list of followers in channels where you are a moderator.
Permission 4: View live Stream Chat and Rooms messages
It is important you grant these permissions for all of the features to function as expected.
Once you do this, the initial setup will be completed, and you will be redirected back to the External Integrations section of the Powerchat Creator Dashboard.
Once your account is linked, you can now enable and disable various features for Twitch.
Feature Descriptions:
Enable Twitch Chats - This determines if the Twitch live chat will be included in the Powerchat Chat Overlay Live Chat Overlay.
Enable Alerts - This will turn all features on or off with one button.
Show 'on Twitch' in alerts - This will add the text 'on Twitch' to any alert which originates on Twitch.
Show in view count overlay - This determines if the Twitch live view count will be included in the Powerchat View Count Overlay Live View Count Overlay.
Enable Follow Alerts - This determines if new follows trigger an alert.
Enable Raid Alerts - This determines if raids trigger an alert.
Enable Subscribe Alerts - This determines if new Twitch paid subscriptions to your channel will trigger an alert.
Subscribers Add to Goal - This determines if new Twitch subscribers add to the Powerchat Subscriber Goal Bar Overlay .
Enable Bit Alerts - This determines if Bits, which originate from Twitch, will display and read the same way a Powerchat Paid Chat does .
Play Bits message with TTS - This determines if Bits should also read Text-to-Speech like a Powerchat Paid Chat does.
Bits Adds to Goal - This determines if Twitch Bits add to the Powerchat Goal Bar Goal Bar Overlays.
Bits TTS Minimum - This sets a minimum USD amount for Bits to also read via Text-to-Speech in the alert on Powerchat.
Do not forget to hit the blue save button after you make changes!
