Crypto Setup

Powerchat Creators can accept payments with crypto by linking a Litecoin wallet.

Your viewers can send crypto in the following currencies:

• Bitcoin (BTC)

• Dogecoin (DOGE)

• Ethereum (ETH)

• Litecoin (LTC)

• TFUEL (TFUEL)

• USD Coin (USDC)

• Monero (XMR)

Our crypto payment partners automatically convert all of these payments into Litecoin for payouts.

Payouts are sent once a minimum of $20.00 is accumulated in your Powerchat Balance. Your crypto balance can be found on the Payment Integrations tab of your Creator Dashboard. The balance value is calculated once every 24 hours against the USD value of the coin at every 24 hour interval.

To begin accepting crypto payments navigate to your Payment Integrations menu in the Creator Dashboard and click the "Enable Crypto" toggle button. This will enable you to enter a valid litecoin wallet address into the address field. Once this is done, simply click save any you can start receiving crypto payments immediately.

Because crypto payments take a long time to fully confirm, we automatically enable the option "Play Alerts Instantly Before Transaction is Confirmed". What this means is that while the transaction is processing we will play the alert on screen as if it were complete before it actually completes. If you choose to toggle this off, payments sent using crypto may take 20 or more minutes to finish confirming (depending on the coin and how busy that nework is) and thus causing significant delays for your viewers.
