Powerchat offers a YouTube.com Integration solution which allows you to receive and trigger alerts which originate on YouTube in your Powerchat TTS/Media Alertbox. Powerchat also offers YouTube Integration solutions to display YouTube chat in the Powerchat Chat Overlay Live Chat Overlay and the viewer count in the Powerchat View Count Overlay Live View Count Overlay.
To use the YouTube Integration features, you must first link your YouTube channel in the External Integrations section of the Powerchat Creator Dashboard. This step of the process will redirect you to YouTube.com, where you will be instructed to login, select the YouTube channel of your choice, and grant Powerchat the required permissions for all of the features we provide.
Permission 1: See a list of your current active channel members, their current level, and when they became a member.
Permission 2: Manage your YouTube account.
It is important you grant both of these permissions for all of the features to function as expected. By default, they are not selected, so you must select them.
Once you do this, the initial setup will be completed, and you will be redirected back to the External Integrations section of the Powerchat Creator Dashboard.
Once your account is linked, you can now enable and disable various features for YouTube.
