# IRL Streaming

How to use Powerchat alerts and overlays while IRL streaming

## Determine which platform you need

This topic has been divided into subcategories to make things easier for you. There are three ways to IRL stream and use Powerchat alerts and overlays. [Android](/streaming-configuration/irl-streaming/android.md) devices are recommended for IRL Streaming from phones. [Apple iPhone](/streaming-configuration/irl-streaming/apple-iphone.md) devices are compatible, but have known compatibility issues that affect some users. If you're using a [LiveU / BELABOX](/streaming-configuration/irl-streaming/liveu-belabox.md) or similar device, we have a guide for that as well.
