Goal Bar Overlays

A guide to setting up and understanding goal bars and their functions

Introduction

Powerchat offers various Goal Bar Overlays for Creators to use on their streams to track and promote goals. All goal bars have several customizable options, including color, transparency, font, size, orientation, and style. These can all be viewed and customized on the Goal tab in the Powerchat Creator Dashboard.

Powerchat Goal Bar

The Powerchat Goal Bar is specifically used to track the total monetary value of Paid Text-to-Speech messages. You can set the starting value and goal value to any number you want, and change it as you see fit. Once setup, if untouched, it will track the total amount of money processed through your Powerchat Paid Chat Page.

Alternatively, users in the past have setup this goal and simply used it to track transaction totals over time, not displaying it on screen, but checking the Goal tab periodically to see the total.

Sub Goal Bar

The Sub Goal Bar is specifically used to track paid subscribers on the various platforms Powerchat supports. For example, if you have a Kick account linked, and you get a new subscriber on Kick, or a gifted subscriber, this is reflected on this specific goal bar.

Follow Goal Bar

The Follow Goal Bar is specifically used to track new followers on the various platforms Powerchat supports. At this time, Kick and Rumble are excluded and will be added when official API support is added by their respective services.
