A guide to setting up and understanding the Soundboard (Voicy) overlay

Introduction

We've also partnered with one of the leading platforms for memes and sounds on the internet, Voicy, to provide all Powerchat creators the ability to play soundboard effects directly from their Powerchat control page in the dashboard. Creators can search for, add, and play sounds from their Powerchat dashboard, which will be displayed and heard on stream via your existing TTS overlay.

With the growth of popularity in soundboards, and many people purchasing physical devices to do these, Powerchat is excited to offer a free alternative through this partnership.

Setup

To setup and control the soundboard, navigate to the Controls tab in the Powerchat Creator Dashboard. Here you can create soundboards, add sounds to them, and then play them on the fly. These play through the Powerchat TTS/Media Overlay.
